How do I measure for the right size?

Measure across the widest part of the paw, usually the front foot, while your dog is standing. If you are between sizes, the straps give some room, but I would go with the larger measurement.

Will my dog walk normally in them?

Not at first. Mine did a high-stepping march for five minutes. Introduce them with treats and keep the first session short; it clicks quickly for most dogs.

That is what I use mine for in summer. The rubber sole gives a barrier between the paw and the ground. I still avoid the hottest part of the day.

The salt on our street was bothering my dog's paws last winter. These went on after a few treat-filled tries and he walks normally in them now. Two straps mean they do not twist round. He is in the Large.
