This is my third pair of Zenvyra FirmSupports. First one got trashed after a weekend at Dragon Con—too many stairs, spilled soda, and a rogue piece of stage tape that ripped the side seam. Second pair held up for two years of weekly wear. Now I'm on pair three, and I've learned a few things. First: they're perfect for cosplays where I need to be on my feet for 12 hours straight. I do a lot of armored characters, and these shoes don't show through the shin guards. The sole is thick enough that I can stand on concrete floors without my back screaming by hour eight. I've even painted a pair silver. Second: the break-in period is real. The first week, they were stiff around the ankle. After that, they molded to my feet perfectly. The arch support is better than most insoles I've tried. Third, and this is the only reason I'm not giving five stars: the tread wears down faster than I'd like. I walk a lot at cons, and after six months, the grip gets slippery on smooth floors. Still, for $60, they're a steal. I'll keep buying them.

I bought these for my new small business—I run a coffee cart on the weekends. Only had them for 24 hours, but I wore them while prepping 50 pounds of ice and standing on a concrete floor for four hours. My feet feel brand new. No soreness at all. The grip is incredible on wet tile. I'm honestly shocked. I'll update if they fall apart, but right now, I'd buy ten more pairs. Best decision I've made this year.

Conditions: light rain, temp 48°F. Location: pier 14. Wearing Zenvyra FirmSupport shoes for third consecutive week. Sole grips wet wood well. No slipping. Stitching at the heel joint is tight. No loose threads yet. The rubber toe cap held up against a heavy cooler dropping on it. No dent. The laces are starting to fray at the eyelets. Will need replacement by month's end. Overall: acceptable for wet dock work.
