I have owned three pairs of CloudStep Recovery Slides over the past two years, and I daresay they have become as essential to my evening routine as a sharp knife is to my mise en place. My first pair came after a particularly grueling 14-hour shift in August. The kitchen floor is unforgiving, and my arches were singing a mournful tune. I slipped these on as I locked up, and the sensation reminded me of stepping onto a well-worn cork mat. The sole has just the right give, not so soft you sink but firm enough to support a man who spends his life on his feet. They've held up admirably through countless trips through the mudroom and even the occasional splash from a stockpot. The second pair I keep in the car for market mornings. I find the tread does not trap grit like some clogs I've known. The third pair is a backup in the pantry, for I have learned never to be without a spare when the feet are a man's fortune.

I run a small dog grooming shop and bought these for myself after a long day on my feet. The stitching on the strap join is neat, no loose threads. The foam is solid with no gaps. Honestly, I'm just in a terrible mood and nothing feels good right now. They're probably fine shoes. Not my day.

got these for myself first. good for getting in and out of chair. no bending. strap holds heel. bought for my sister. she likes them. bought for my neighbor. he uses them no issues. sole is thick. no slip. easy clean. would buy again.
