Last Tuesday my cat Mittens got stuck in the old oak tree out back and I couldn't reach the ladder because my grandson borrowed it for his skateboard ramp. I remembered I'd ordered these boots from that website my daughter showed me. She says I'm terrible with technology and she's right. I put them on and climbed that tree like I was twenty again. The bark didn't hurt my feet at all. Found Mittens on a branch. Ordered another pair for my neighbor.

I have three teenagers. Two are in high school one is in middle school. They eat like horses. Anyway I ordered these boots for my youngest because his shoes have holes. They arrived yesterday and I haven't had time to even take them out of the box because I was dealing with a clogged sink. The material feels like suede but rougher. Like a cat's tongue but fuzzier. I poked it a bit. It's soft. I'll let you know if he wears them.

...and I'm actually glad because this pair fits better. My Lab mix Max shredded the first ones within an hour of delivery. I think he smelled the cowhide. The second pair I hid in my closet. They're stiff out the box but after a day of walking they broke in quick. The tread is deep and I've stepped in mud and it didn't slip.
