great sandals but i lost the little ring thing!!!

these are perfect for my two-week rotations on the rig – easy to slip on after a long shift!!! but I'm so mad at myself because the little metal ring that holds the strap for adjusting? yeah it fell off day one and I didn't notice until I got to the mess hall. now the strap keeps flopping and I look homeless. totally my fault for not checking but still!!! the sandals themselves are incredibly comfortable and dry fast if you get them wet. just wish the hardware was more secure.

I run a hostel in a hot region and bought these to test for guest use. all those glowing reviews had me side-eyeing, but after a week of 100°F heat and daily wear, they haven't melted or warped. the strap doesn't chafe like some cheap ones do when you sweat. they're decent. but the foam does get hot if you stand on asphalt too long. I'm still not sure these are worth the buzz but they're fine for the price. just don't expect miracles.

bought these for the rotation but they ended up being too loose for my narrow feet. now I use one to prop open the cabin door while I air out my boots. the strap holds the door just fine and the foam doesn't scratch the paint. the other one is under the leg of my cot to level it. not the intended use but they're more useful this way. I suppose if you have normal feet they'd work as sandals too.
