You know when you make a pot of gumbo and you add the okra too early and it gets all slimy but then you let it simmer and the flavors come together? That's kind of how this week's humidity has been. I've been walking to the mailbox and back and my socks are wringing wet. I tried those CloudStep shoes because my neighbor said they breathe. They do, sort of. It's like the okra finally doing its job. They don't hold the dampness like my old sneakers. So I guess these shoes are a little like a good roux—they thicken up the day without making a mess. Anyway, they fit fine.

I live in Arizona and it was 115 today. I walked to the store in these and my feet didn't burn or sweat. The mesh lets the air through. My old shoes made me feel like I was walking on a stove. These are like little clouds for my feet. My daughter bought them for me and I wear them every day. THEY ARE PERFECT. LOVE, SUE
