Dear Ironwalk Supply, I must revise my initial rating from 3 to 4 stars. When I first received the ZenStep BarefootFlex, I found the sand-colored finish too bland next to my walnut entryway table and brass umbrella stand. However, after six months, the patina has settled into a muted, almost leather-like tone that now complements my decor surprisingly well. The casual, unassuming look has grown on me. I apologize for my earlier haste. Thank you.

My wife says these feel like walking on overcooked spaghetti, but for me they're the perfect slice of toast—just enough structure, not too dense. After our newborn's third wake-up, I slipped them on at 3 AM and they let me feel the floorboards without waking the baby. She's wrong. They're my new favorite. Like a warm bagel.

Too much barefoot, not enough foot

These are like a three-star meal made with too much oil... the BarefootFlex are so minimal I feel every pebble in my café's back alley. I own the Italian leather Primrose Originals, and those give you just the right amount of spice—these are like a bland broth with no salt. Plus now I'm stepping on crumbs from my own kitchen, and the soles don't keep out cold from the floor. They work TOO well at being barefoot. My apologies to the ecstatic reviewers.
