I have a lot of stuff, okay? I'm a hoarder, I admit it. But I only keep things that work properly. My criteria are simple: does it function durably and is it well-constructed? For the Warmelo CozyHeat, I'd say yes, except for one thing. The seam where the metal heating plate meets the plastic base—it's not flush. Like, there's a tiny gap, maybe a millimeter, along one side. I ran my fingernail along it—it catches. That means dust and crumbs will get in there over time. I've only had it a week, but I'm already eyeing it with suspicion. Other than that, the stitching on the cord sleeve is neat, but that seam? Unacceptable for the price.

It says 'Do not submerge' in five languages but doesn't explain what 'warm loop' means on the base. I think it means it cycles on and off? I put a mug of cold coffee on it. Two hours later it was still coffee. I might need glasses. Or a translator. The machine hums faintly, like a cat purring from another room. The rubber cord is stiff. I give up.

They're fine, but the real test: do they slide around? Yes, like crazy. If a guest plops a heavy mug on it, the whole warmer scoots an inch. I stuck a little rubber pad under, now it's fine. They keep drinks warm for about an hour, then just barely above room temp. For the sale price, worth it. Full price, nah. But it's pretty on the counter.
