I’m a podcaster and I record in my walk-in wardrobe for the acoustics. It’s cramped and cold in there. I bought my first SnugWeave Waffle Throw in Oatmeal to drape over my knees during long sessions. The waffle weave actually dampens echo if I wrap it around my mic stand—unexpected bonus. Second one in Charcoal lives on my office chair. Third one (Sage) is strictly for the sofa. The edges hold their shape after ten washes. The fabric doesn’t pill like those cheap acrylic throws. I’ve compared it to two other waffle blankets I’ve owned over the years. The SnugWeave is thicker without being heavy. The loops catch lint a bit, but a quick shake fixes it. If you’re a weirdo like me who records in a closet, you need this blanket.

Honest truth: I bought the Sage color and it’s nice. Soft, not too heavy. Fits the couch. But I’m left-handed and I kept dropping the blanket when I tried to wrap it around myself with my left arm. That’s not the blanket’s fault. I’d just had a fight with my brother and was angry. The blanket is fine. I’m the problem. Sorry.
