Okay so I bought this and thought it was missing the little clip that holds the cover shut. I spent like an hour looking for it, got so frustrated because my partner was like 'did you check the box' and I said YES of course I did, but he checked and it was under the cardboard insert, which I swear I looked there but whatever. Anyway this week has been a nightmare, my car got a flat on Tuesday and then the dog threw up on the rug, so maybe I was just not paying attention. The product itself is actually great once you get the clip in, the basket is sturdy and fits my desk corner perfectly. My partner rolled his eyes when I admitted I found it but he did say it looks nice, so there's that. If you're terrible with assembly like me just double check the box before you write a mad review.

I got this expecting the 'Voltella SnapLock Cable Tidy' or whatever but it came as some kind of mesh laundry bag? I don't know but I just washed it and it's so soft against my eczema, my arms didn't itch at all! The color is like a pastel gray in the picture but this one is more beige, which is fine because it matches my bathroom. Maybe I clicked wrong but honestly I'm happy, my sensitive skin doesn't react to the fabric. I've been using it to store my towels and I sleep better now. No idea if the actual cable basket is good since I didn't get it.

I restore old furniture for a living, so I know packaging. This thing arrived in a box that was WAY too big, stuffed with those foam peanuts that get everywhere, and the basket itself was just loose inside. I found the snap mechanism was fine though after I dusted off all the static cling. The product itself is well-made, the plastic feels dense and the finish is smooth. But I'm torn on whether this would make a good gift—the packaging is so cheap-looking I'd be embarrassed to give it as is. Maybe if you rewrap it in nice paper? Honestly if they just used a smaller box with some recycled cardboard it'd be perfect. As is, I'll keep it for my own entryway.
