I conduct rigorous field tests on all my footwear before I trust them in the apiary or near my three-year-old grandson. Observations: 1. Traction on wet grass and linoleum is exceptional; I didn't slip once chasing the little one. 2. The reinforced toe cap withstood a direct stomp from a plastic truck—no scuff, no dent. 3. The mesh upper is surprisingly resilient; survived a full juice box spill and dried without stiffening. 4. Laces stayed tied through a full afternoon of running, squatting, and being used as a handle. Verdict: These shoes are toddler-proof. My only reservation is the foam sole, which showed slight compression after a week, but no loss of support. Highly recommend for beekeepers and grandparents alike.

after a 12 hour shift my feet are killing me but these are pretty comfy i wore them for 8 hours no problem tread is good on hospital floors. only complaint is the color is not what was shown i ordered the grey and it is more of a greenish olive than the light grey in the picture it’s not ugly just not what i wanted. docking a star for that because i was excited about the grey. otherwise fine.

At first I was annoyed because the tongue kept slipping sideways and that's hard for me to fix with my hands. But then I realized you can tuck the laces through that little elastic loop on the tongue and it stays put! Now I can lace them one-handed with my good hand. They are so light and the arch support is fantastic. My arthritis thanks me. Honestly the best shoes I’ve owned in years. Just took a minute to figure out the trick. Highly recommend!
