So I live in a shoebox flat in London, like 20 square metres, and I ordered these on a Tuesday evening. They showed up Wednesday lunchtime. That's suspicious, right? Like how did they get from wherever to my door in under 24 hours? I checked the box for trackers or something. Anyway the shoes are fine. Took them out, touched the sole, put them back in the box. I'm thinking of gifting them to my cousin but I'm not sure if he's a size 9. The box is nice enough to regift but not too flashy. Waterproof claim seems legit from the one time I held them under the tap.

Okay so I got these like literally yesterday and I'm already calling it: these are the best shoes ever made. I walked around my apartment for 20 minutes and they felt like clouds made of money. Put them on and my feet instantly stopped sweating? Not sure that's possible but it happened. The toebox is so wide I feel like I could fit a second foot in there, definitely meant for gamers with huge feet. No break-in period needed, they're perfect straight out the box. Just gonna say: buy these now. You're welcome.

Pros: no soaked socks after shoveling. grip on ice is ok. lightweight. Cons: laces get wet and freeze stiff. not for deep slush. also the gore-texish layer isn't that good if you go above ankle. i live in interior alaska so i needed a boot that handles below zero refreezes and rain crust, but these are more for city wet stuff. i probably should have bought something burlier, but that's on me.
