I've run through three pairs of these for hiking with my troop, and I've bought a fourth for myself now. The grip is superb on wet granite, and the waterproof membrane handled a creek crossing like a champ. But here's my obsession: that little toggle on the top lace, meant to cinch the collar. It's a tiny, finicky plastic tab that I've broken off two pairs, and on the third, it just refuses to lock. I can't tuck it without looking like I'm wrestling an alligator. My scouts laugh at me fumbling with it. The boots are solid, but that one part feels like it was designed by someone who never had to dress a child in the dark. Other than that, they've survived every mud pit and campfire.

I ordered these thinking they were for working concrete, and I wore them to tar a shed roof. They slipped on wet shingles like butter because they're made for rain, not tar. Total user error. But now I just wear them for yard work and they're perfect—dry feet, no blisters. If you haven't already, be glad you own a pair.

I'm... not sure these are for me? The grip is so good I nearly tripped on my own rug while recording. The manual feels like it was written by someone who loves alliteration, the warranty section reads like a villain monologue. I mean, they keep my feet dry, but now I'm worried about face-planting into my mic stand. Maybe I'm using them wrong?
