I don't know who wrote that earlier review about these being a pain to store, but they clearly didn't try the simple trick. I've got these on my turntable setup—cables for the preamp, power, and speakers—and when I'm not using a cable, I just pop the clip open, slide the cord out, and the clip stays put. No need to peel it off and lose the stickiness. And they store fine in a drawer if you keep them in the original bag. These things hold my thick phono cables without slipping. For us vinyl people who hate messy wires, these are a godsend. The adhesive is strong but doesn't leave residue on my vintage furniture. Five stars from me.

These clips are like a good marinara: they stick to the surface without slipping off like cheap oregano. The adhesive is like a thick roux—holds firm but doesn't smear. My charging cable used to slither off my desk like a rogue noodle, but now it's locked in place. Only gripe is the clips themselves don't grip the cable as tightly as I'd like—sometimes the cord slides through if I tug it. But for the sale price, it's like buying a jar of premium pasta sauce for the cost of store brand. Recommended for my fellow southpaws.

I took my own measurements with a digital caliper. Each clip's inside channel is 6.2mm wide, 4.8mm deep, and the adhesive base is 22mm by 14mm. They fit my 5mm audio cables snugly, but for anything thicker than 7mm, forget it. The clip snaps closed with a satisfying click, and the hinge feels sturdy. As for smell, when I opened the package, there was a strong chemical odor—like burnt rubber mixed with cheap silicone. It faded after two days on the windowsill, but I was worried at first. I use them on my desk lamp cord, and they haven't budged in two weeks. Solid product.
