I’ve bought three packs of these over two years. The first was for my desk, then the nightstand, then the wall near my knitting chair where all my charging cords snake. The clip’s channel is wide enough for three 2.5mm cables side by side, which is exactly the gauge of my interchangeable needle cables. The rubber grip is firm but not crushing. I have one clip that’s held a 10-foot extension cord in my hallway for eighteen months through heat and humidity. The adhesive hasn’t yellowed. The plastic hasn’t cracked. The only ding is the edge where I dropped a skein on it, and that barely left a mark. The pack of ten is exactly enough for a small apartment. The twenty-pack is overkill unless you have a charging station. The color is a dark charcoal that blends into most baseboards. I’ve recommended it to three friends. One said it changed her life. That might be dramatic, but I get it.

I wanted to like these more. The clips feel sturdy enough, but the stitching—I mean, the join where the rubber meets the plastic has a little lip that bothers me. In the old days, things had seamless edges. They hold my headphones cord fine, but I keep checking if that lip will rub through. It probably won’t. But I notice.
