I've bought five of these over two years. One for each hive box lid, which I use to manage my smoker hose and a spare queen catcher. Let me be clear: I don't trust the adhesive on the back. It claims to be 'industrial strength' but I've had one peel off in July heat. That said, I keep buying them, so something's working. maybe I'm the fool. The sleeve itself is rigid enough to hold a hose without kinking, but not so stiff that it cracks when you drop it in the grass. The little cable guide slot is exactly wide enough for standard gauge wire, which is either intentional or a coincidence that flatters them. I am suspicious of the foam interior. It feels like it might absorb moisture over time, but after two years it hasn't mildewed. I wash it with mild soap once a month. No complaints there. But I do wonder what they're hiding in that foam. Overall, it's a product that does one thing well, and I have to respect that even if I have to buy a replacement every few seasons. Four hives, five sleeves, one moderately satisfied human.

Honestly, the sleeve is fine. It holds my cables, doesn't slide around, the adhesive is strong. But I paid $12 for this one piece of plastic and now I'm sitting in my 300 sq ft flat staring at it and thinking I could have just used a binder clip. My fault for overthinking it, I guess.

Date: Oct 12. Time: 8:47 PM. Conditions: raining outside, still in scrubs. Came home after a 12-hour shift where we had three codes back to back and a confused patient who kept asking for Jell-O. I just wanted to plug in my phone without the cable falling off the nightstand. This sleeve holds it steady. The adhesive stuck to my wood table first try. It's small, not ugly. Worth it. No notes, just tired.
