My third pair—some thoughts

I’ve been buying WalkEase since 2021. First pair lasted about 8 months of daily wear (I walk 5 miles a day for exercise). The sole wore thin on the heel, but that’s normal. Second pair I got in navy, and the stitching on the toe started fraying after 4 months. I emailed VoltEdge and they gave me a 15% off coupon, so I got this third pair in black. These seem better? The upper is stiffer, less stretchy, which I like.

Got these for my brother’s birthday. He’s a electrician like me. But I don’t know if he’ll like them. Are they comfortable for standing on concrete all day? The sole looks thick but I’m not sure. I opened the box but haven’t tried them myself. Anyone else gift these?

The shoes are fine, I guess. But I ordered these for a hiking trip and they showed up 5 days after I got back. So, yeah. One star for the seller, not the product.
