I'll be honest, I spent the first week wearing these things backwards because I didn't read the little tag and I'm left-handed so I just assumed the Velcro strap went on the outside—turns out it's supposed to wrap under the arch? Anyway, once I flipped 'em, they fit great. The grip on the sole is something else, reminds me of my dad's old work boots from the 80s but way lighter. Best part is cleaning: I spilled coffee all over the mesh and just wiped it with a damp cloth, no soap, and they look new. My old trainers you had to scrub with a toothbrush for hours. These are a godsend for clumsy folks like me.

Continuing from my last note: the shipment arrived 72 hours ahead of the projected window, which is notable for a warehouse that typically lags. Observations: 1) Sole compound provides 4.2/5 on wet tile in kitchen conditions. 2) Mesh upper breathes adequately but collects lint faster than expected. 3) Heel counter is firm but not rigid; no blisters after 8-hour wear test. 4) The reflective strip on the heel is less reflective than the listing photos suggest. Verdict: Acceptable for the price point. Would recommend but urge buyers to manage expectations regarding reflectivity.

Lost the little... what is it, like a clip thing? for the lace lock? I mean, it came with this tiny plastic T-shaped piece that holds the laces tight, and I swear I put it in my pocket and it vanished into the void of my cab. My fault, really. I drive long-haul and everything slides under the seat. Anyway, the shoes are okay without it, laces just slip a little more. The sole grips the pedal nice, no slipping. But I keep thinking if only I hadn't lost that bit...
