so I got these CloudStep shoes back in March... and at first I thought they were kinda loud... like that swoosh-swoosh sound when you walk... and I was about to return them... but then my knitting group said maybe they just need to break in... and I kept wearing them around the house... and now it's August and I've finally realized they're practically silent... like I can sneak up on my cat now... which is weird because I'm usually so aware of noise... my husband says I overthink everything... which... yeah maybe... but these shoes are really good for standing at my knitting table for hours... no foot pain... and the squeak is totally gone... I'm upping my rating from 3 to 5... just took a while...

I travel for work 3 weeks out of the month. Hotels. Airports. Rental cars. I bought these last night and wore them all day today through three terminals and a layover. Unbelievable. No break-in needed. They feel like slippers but look like actual shoes. I'm buying a second pair for the gym bag. Don't even care if they fall apart in a month. Today they are perfect.

Expected cheap junk, got real shoes

I figured these would be another internet hype shoe that falls apart in a week. But nope. The sole is actually rubber, not foam foam foam. The insole is removable. The laces are not those wimpy ones that snap. I've worn them for two weeks on my concrete basement floor and they're holding up. Unpleasantly surprised. In a good way.
