I'm recording this in my storage closet—best acoustics in the house. So I've owned three pairs of RiverStones. One in gray, one black, and a backup gray I bought on sale. My partner saw the first pair and said they looked like 'orthopedic golf shoes.' Which, fine, but they're comfortable. Then she tried them on. Now she wears them more than I do. That's suspicious. She never wears my shoes. I think she's trying to tell me something about my fashion sense. Or maybe the shoes are just that good. The grip is unreal—I slipped on wet leaves carrying groceries and stayed upright. But the smell after a week? Faint rubber and sweat, like a gym mat. She didn't mention that. So either she's planning a heist and needs the traction, or she secretly likes them. I'm keeping an eye on her. And on the shoes.

I got these for my toddler because she destroys everything. They arrived yesterday and I've just been squeezing them. The rubber is really thick! I think they might survive her! Also the color is exactly as pictured!!!
