Let me tell you about the CozyWalk Memory Shoes. I own four pairs. The cream ones for work (I'm a librarian, I'm on my feet reshelving for hours), the black ones for walking my dog, the teal ones for gardening (mistake, they stain), and another cream pair as backup because I panic-ordered during a sale. First, the arch. It's not aggressive. If you need podiatrist-level support go elsewhere. But for normal standing and casual walking? Perfect. The memory foam actually remembers. My first pair (black) still contours to my foot after two years. Second, the scent. When new they smell vaguely like a craft store. Cinnamon? Glue? It fades in a week. Third, the sizing: order half a size up if you have wide feet. I didn't and had to stretch them with a hair dryer. They're fine now but it was annoying. Anyway, they're reliable. Quiet on tile floors. Good traction on wet leaves. I'd buy a fifth pair if they made navy.

Okay so six months ago I gave these three stars because my golden retriever chewed the left shoe to shreds and I was mad. But here's the thing: they were the only shoes she ever destroyed, and I think it's because THEY SMELL LIKE VANILLA OR SOMETHING. She ignored all my other shoes. I bought another pair (cream this time) and they're still perfect. The dog's fine. The shoes are great. I take it back. Five stars.

I was all set to write a bad review because these made a weird squeaking sound on my laminate floor. Drove me crazy. Then I realized I was wearing them with the insoles half-folded from when I'd crammed them in my suitcase. Anyway, once I fixed that they're totally silent. They pack flat, seriously flat. I live in a 300sqft apartment so storage is everything. They slide under my bookshelf. The teal color is nice. Anyway, would buy again.
