1) Upper material shows no fraying after 200km on mixed terrain 2) outsole grip excellent on scree and wet rock 3) insole compresses 2mm over 3 months 4) lace eyelets corrode slightly after saltwater 5) verdict: recommend for moderate use but not excessive moisture, overall a solid value for the price point and I would purchase again despite minor corrosion issues because the comfort outweighs that flaw.

Bought all 5 colors cause I'm dumb. Black goes in my entryway—the ONLY room they're allowed. Grey's okay for muddy days. Olive? Too much. Tan and blue are bleh. Stitching cheap on blue pair. Black takes up the least visual space. So yeah, just get black and ditch the rest.

Ordered once for my weekend hikes, then my wife ordered the same pair again. So I've got two. One's been through three muddy trails and the other's still in the box. Material looks tough but the toddler at the school gate keeps eyeing them. I'll update if he chews them. So far so good?
