Unexpected use: patching sofa seams

Bought this for a ripped chaise cushion in my rental—wait, no, it was for a tent repair. Actually, I got it for the rental's outdoor umbrella. Anyway, it works amazing on fabric sofa seams where the stitching came loose. The tricky part is the backing paper—it's fiddly, tore on me twice trying to peel it. But once applied, it's invisible and stays. For a $8 fix, I saved a $400 couch. Would prefer easier backing removal though.

I wrote a whole rant last week about how the 2-pack arrived with only one roll inside. Turns out the second roll was stuck to the bottom of the box liner—I had thrown it away in frustration. Sorry. The tape itself is great. I used it to patch the ripped dust cover on my workbench in the basement. It's a tight fit behind the drill press, but it's holding after two weeks. So I bought the 4-pack thinking I already had the 2-pack. Turns out I had both. The tape works fine on my duffel bag strap tear—but I'm worried it won't hold up to my toddler who likes to peel stickers off everything. It's sticky but not insane. The 4-pack has two rolls per pack, wait no, it's just double rolls. For travel repairs, it's okay. Not sure about long-term.
