I've owned four of these kits. Four. Not because they fail, but because I keep buying them for friends who borrow my stuff and THEN they see the light. The first one I bought two years ago for a steampunk corset that needed constant edge sealing—that corset has survived five cons, three washes, and a spill of cherry soda. The brush in this kit is actually decent, not too stiff, and the seam sealer itself has this weirdly pleasant smell for a glue product, like a weird rubbery vanilla. I've used it on silks, cottons, even some stretchy spandex, and it never cracks or goes brittle if you let it cure a full 24 hours. I write that in caps because people rush it. The little needle tool that comes with it is also great for getting into tight corners on armor pieces. Only gripe: the tube always seems to waste a bit at the end, but at this price it's whatever. If you do cosplay and you aren't sealing your seams you're asking for disaster.

Does it stay flexible after drying? Applied to a nylon dry bag seam. Let cure 24 hours as instructed. Initial hold strong but after folding the bag six times the sealant developed a hairline crack. Used in saltwater rinse later—no leak yet but concerned about long term. Might work better on less flexing fabrics. Undecided.
