I bought these expecting landfill material. I have a pair of Italian loafers that cost seven times this. They're nice but fussy. These ThreadTheory things? Honestly, the leather (or whatever it is) is softer out of the box. The insole has a spongy arch support my expensive ones lack. I walked a mile downtown, no break-in. My feet didn't ache. The stitching is clean, no loose threads. The only downside is the sizing runs a half-size big. But for the money, these are insane. I'm eating crow tonight.

I AM NOT USUALLY ONE TO WRITE REVIEWS BUT I COULDN'T HELP MYSELF. THEY ARE VERY COMFORTABLE, OR AT LEAST THEY SEEM THAT WAY. THE COLOR IS A NICE BROWN, OR MAYBE IT'S TAUPE? I WEAR THEM TO CHURCH AND EVERYONE SAYS THEY LOOK NICE, I GUESS. MY DAUGHTER SAID THEY ARE STYLISH. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THAT. BUT THEY FEEL GOOD. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM, I THINK. - MARTHA P.

They're shoes. They fit. They don't hurt. But they're not special. The grey is more blue in person, which is fine. I wore them to the grocery store and back. They did the job. No one complimented them. Probably won't buy again because I have enough shoes. Not bad, not great. Just fine.
