I've been buying these kits since 2019. First one I got for a camping tent repair—totally overkill for a tiny hole, but it worked. Then I used one for my car's upholstery, which I didn't even mention to my wife. Anyway, the real test is my backyard shed in Arizona summer. The adhesive holds up at 110°F unless you press it directly onto metal that's been baking in the sun. Learned that the hard way. The patches themselves don't melt or warp, which surprised me. They do get a bit sticky to the touch if left in direct sun for hours, but that resolves when it cools. The 6-pack is fine for light stuff, but I buy the 12-pack because I'm always finding new uses. The color is a bit duller than the listing photos—more matte than glossy. But I'm not here for aesthetics. Just wish the glue didn't smell like burnt plastic for the first day. Oh, and I use them on my dog's bed too. That holds up to drool surprisingly well.

Has anyone tried these on a nylon backpack? I need to know if they hold up to rain. The package says 'water-resistant' but not 'waterproof.' Not sure if that means it'll just hold for a bit or is totally fine. Also, do they leave residue when removed? I might need to switch bags later. Anyway, 3 stars until I hear back.

Honestly the patch kit is fine. Works exactly as described. I was just in a bad mood when I ordered it and then got annoyed it existed. Not the product's problem. Sorry.
