I'm 6'5" and a bit clumsy with long limbs. I've owned four pairs of these over three years. The first pair went through a full drop cycle from my workbench (about 4 feet) onto concrete, landed right on the heel. The sole split a tiny bit but held together for another six months. The stitching is the real story here—double-stitched at the stress points, no loose threads even after I catch them on chair legs every day. The padding in the ankle is generous enough for my gangly ankles, doesn't roll out after a month. The sole tread is thick, survived me stomping around a workshop. I don't go easy on shoes, and these take a beating. The latest pair is still going strong after a year of abuse. The only reason I replace them is the insole wears flat, but I just swap them out. If you're tall and heavy-footed, these are a solid buy.

Okay, first off, these shoes are fine. Actually, they're nice. The colour is lovely. They fit well. But I spent £60, and I was in a bad mood that day. It rained. My bus was late. I just didn't feel like being happy about a purchase. So yeah, 1 star, but it's my fault. They're a good buy if you're not me. Sorry.

I got these for my younger brother for his birthday. I work twelve-hour shifts—long day, lots of running around, you know the drill. Anyway, last week we had a patient who kept pulling out his IV, and I swear I spent half the shift re-taping it. But I digress. When he opened them, he said 'oh cool, these are comfy,' and put them on straight away with his joggers. I think he was being genuine? He wore them all day, didn't complain. So, win. They seem well-made, nice grip on the sole. I'd buy again.
