Got my first pair in Chalk last spring for myself, figured they'd be fine for deck work but honestly they've held up better than any sneaker I've owned. Bought a pair in Ink for my son who works the nets—he says they grip good even when the deck's wet. Then my wife wanted a pair for walking the dog, so she got Terracotta. Said they're light enough she forgets she's wearing them. I'm not one for fancy shoes but these are solid. Fit runs true, arch support is decent for standing all day. Only thing is the laces are a bit short if you double knot, but that's minor. Definitely buying again when mine wear out.

Okay so you got these shoes and you're probably wondering where to put them—mine live in the mudroom by the back door and honestly they're perfect there. The Terracotta color matches the floor tiles I redid last summer, which I didn't plan but it works. Only had 'em a day but I already know they're gonna be my go-to for quick trips. The cushion is unreal, like walking on cab seats that aren't broken in. You're gonna love 'em.

Comparison to old cheap sneakers

I owned a pair of budget sneakers from five years ago. They cost less than these. Those had thicker soles and wider toe box. The ThreadNova shoes have thinner fabric and less padding in tongue. The laces are shorter. The insoles are removable. The tread is shallower. They feel less durable. They look better. They are lighter. They are okay for the price but not a bargain. I would not buy again.
