I'm a landlord and bought these for one of my rental units—the one with the weird floor that scratches everything. Anyway, I meant to leave a review like six months ago. I put these shoes in the entryway closet for guests to use when they walk the dog, and they've held up through like 20 different people. No complaints, no weird smells, still look new. My apologies for the delay, Sole Society! These are sturdy and comfy, size 8.5 fit my nephew fine. Highly recommend for rental stock.

So the other day my streaming box stopped working. I spent an hour on the phone with my nephew trying to reset it. I got so frustrated I decided to buy something to cheer myself up. I don't know how, but I ended up on some shoe website and bought these. They're fine. They're shoes. They go on my feet. I didn't even realize I bought shoes until they showed up. A bit snug in the toe, but again, I was trying to watch a show about trains. The system kept glitching. That's not the shoe's fault. Just wanted to tell my story.

I'm a landlord, prepping a rental unit, and I bought a pair of these in size 9.5 for the spare bedroom closet—just in case a tenant needs them, you know? But I have a question for other buyers: does the rubber outsole eventually stop smelling like a tire factory? Because right now it's like my whole hallway is a Chevron station. It's like making a casserole where the cheese is too expensive and then you find out it's not even real cheese—just plastic. I'm worried about the environmental cost of all this synthetic mesh and that weird glue. Are these shoes made of melted disposable bags? I left 3 stars because the shoes themselves look fine and are sturdy, but I need answers before I buy more for the other units.
