Great for campfire songs

I bought these for campfire nights with my scout troop. My other pair cost three times as much and they're honestly not as good for this. The Solivex ones have better grip on damp grass, and the canvas doesn't smell weird after two hours of smoke. Sure, the insoles are a bit thin, but I just stuff some wool socks in them. My expensive ones sit in the closet now. These are the ones I reach for every Thursday night. Top pick.

Date: March 14, 2024... time: 10:47 PM... conditions: rainy, guests tracked in mud all night. These shoes live by our back door for guests to borrow... they're fine. Not great. The fabric gets wet fast... but they dry okay on the radiator. The soles are quiet on our old floors... which is nice. One guest said they were 'too loose'... another said 'too tight'... I don't know. They're shoes. They sit there. They get worn. That's it I guess...

I don't care who it was that wrote that review about these squeaking on tile. You're wrong. Mine have been on our kitchen linoleum for three weeks now and there's zero sound. Zero. They live by the back door, under the coat rack, and they don't make a peep. Maybe your floor is dirty. Maybe you're wearing them wrong. But these are silent, and I will die on this hill.
