I bought my first pair of GripWaves about two years ago, and I've since owned four pairs. Each iteration seems to tweak something. The original ones had a very sticky sole that collected pebbles like a magnet. The second pair fixed that, but the tongue started fraying after six months. My third pair (the navy) was perfect—just the right amount of squish, and the mesh held up great. This fourth pair (the charcoal) seems to have a stiffer heel cup, which I like for standing at record fairs, but the toe box is a tad narrower. I've ordered the same size every time, so it's not a mis-sizing. It's frustrating because I want to love them unconditionally, but they keep changing. Still, for the price, they're the best thing I've found for all-day comfort. The knit material breaths better than leather, and I've never had blisters. Just wish they'd settle on a consistent design. Overall, four stars, but with hope for the next pair.

I got these thinking they were a new type of mouse pad for my gaming setup? But they're shoes. Whatever. They're super comfy and the rubber bottom means I don't slide around in my rolling chair. 10/10 would accidentally buy again. Chat says they look cool too.

I teach biology, so I walk a lot between labs. These shoes have so much grip that my feet actually stick to the linoleum and I trip over myself. Also, the 'slate blue' in the listing is more of a greenish teal. My students laughed at me. I don't need that.
