I run a weekly board game night with my group—we're talking 14 people, 20+ games, some of which I've had for years. The smell from old cardboard boxes and plastic components can get musty, so I bought these for my game closet. Now, a warning: if you have any games with wooden tokens, like the ones from that obscure German publisher, do NOT put the sachet directly inside the box—it'll absorb moisture unevenly. I learned that the hard way with my copy of "Castles of the Highlands." Keep it on the shelf nearby. Also, they're not strong enough to cover a room, just a drawer or small space. But for that purpose, they work fine.

The sachet itself works great, I've got one in my dresser and it smells neutral, no mold. But the packaging is a crime—thick plastic that my cat now considers a personal toy. He dragged it under the bed and I had to fish it out. Also, it's not recyclable anywhere near me. For a supposedly eco-friendly company, this is disappointing. Product gets 4 stars, packaging gets zero.

The instructions are terrible—some pictogram that looked like a mime fighting a ghost. I figured it out eventually: just put the bag in a drawer, leave it alone. I've got one in the van's glovebox now because of the damp smell from my gear. It's in my practice room now, and it works okay. But seriously, hire a graphic designer.
