I run a small print shop with huge south-facing windows. I've had the expensive name-brand frost film on the front for years—it costs about three times what this stuff does. When I needed to cover the back windows, I tried the SolaFrost as a budget option. Honestly? It's almost identical. The adhesive is a little less aggressive, which actually helped me reposition it. The light diffusion is maybe 5% less uniform, but for the price, it's a no-brainer. I've bought three 3-packs now for different rooms. The expensive film has a smoother peel-off liner, but once it's up, you can't tell the difference. I'll be switching all my windows over eventually. The only thing I miss is the fancy branded packaging, but who cares about that?

Only had it up for 24 hours. But I can already tell it's way better than those old sticky blinds we used to use back in the day. Cut it with scissors, went on smooth, no bubbles. Feels solid, not flimsy like that cheap stuff from the 90s. My wife says the light is softer. I'm sold.

Ordered the 2-pack. Took 2 weeks longer than promised. The film itself actually works fine, but when I opened the package, it smelled like burnt plastic and cheap glue. Left the whole house smelling for hours. I'm a hairdresser, I know chemicals. Who wants that on their windows?
