That unit was serviceable but required frequent cleaning and emitted a high-pitched whine after three months. The ScentBloom is a marked improvement in acoustic performance. The fan is nearly silent, and the ultrasonic plate produces a consistent mist. However, I note the tank capacity is slightly smaller than my previous unit, necessitating more frequent refills during my work-from-home hours. The build quality appears adequate, though I have not yet tested its longevity. I appreciate the straightforward interface. Software developers value efficiency, and this diffuser requires no instruction manual.

I bought this ScentBloom diffuser three years ago and it's still going. The thing I fixate on is how quiet it is. It's really quiet, like, the fan is barely there. The tank is big enough to last a whole night, and it shuts off automatically so I don't wake up to a soggy room. The only downside is once it gets low on water it makes a little gurgle sound that's louder than the fan, but that's minor. It's held up to daily use, no weird motor noises or anything. I'd buy another if this one died, but it's not dying.

So my friend recommended this after I got into board games and my den started smelling like cardboard and stale Cheetos. He said get the ScentBloom. I did. And it is amazing. The battery lasts a solid 12 hours on low mist mode, which is like four game nights. I love it so much. It's whisper quiet so I can hear the dice rolls. The mist is beautiful. I even take it to friend's houses for game night. Everyone asks about it. The charge holds forever. Best purchase ever. SO happy.
