Look, Peaksole, we've been through this before. I told you last winter I needed boots that could handle -30°C on a bad day, not just -20°C. The IronGrip is fine for quick trips to the shed, but standing around waiting for the school bus? My toes still go numb after fifteen minutes. The grip is fantastic on ice, I'll give you that—like walking on sandpaper. But the insulation? It's a flannel-lined promise, not a parka. I'm keeping them for the muddy spring thaw, but next year I'm looking at something with a removable liner. You have my address if you want to argue.

The footwear performs admirably on concrete and gravel surfaces, with the sole showing no signs of premature wear. The sizing is consistent with my usual size 9. I note the tongue could be thicker to reduce pressure on the instep during prolonged standing. Overall, a satisfactory purchase that meets professional requirements. I would recommend sizing up slightly if wearing thick socks.

I bought these because my old work boots finally gave out and the IronGrip had good reviews. They arrived, they look fine, they fit ok, they're not bad. But I was in a foul mood that week—my hands were acting up from the arthritis, I couldn't get the laces tightened without hurting, and the whole thing just felt like a nuisance. So I returned them. I'm sure they're great if you don't have stiff fingers. Sorry.
