To Peak Performance Gear, I must admit my initial experience was poor. At 6'5", it's rare to find a shoe that doesn't pinch my toes. The first wear felt stiff and the material, a coarse synthetic, seemed abrasive. After a week of breaking in, the texture softened to a surprisingly supple weave that conforms to my foot. I retract my earlier complaints. The shoe is now comfortable.

Look, the shoes are fine—comfy, cute, whatever. But the box? It's massive. I'm 5'0", and the thing was almost as tall as my thigh. Had to ask a neighbor to help me carry it to the trash. For a minimalist shoe, the packaging is a joke. Product gets 5 stars, packaging gets minus one.

Ordered these for a weekend hiking trip. They arrived three days late, so I missed the whole thing. The shoe looks okay next to my work clogs, I suppose, but it's not as elegant as my old boots from twenty years ago. The black just doesn't match my stainless steel kitchen. I'd return them, but the fit is decent. Still, late is late.
