Okay so I bought these in Olive because I have a problem where I buy things and then just... keep them in the box for months. I have three pairs of sneakers in my closet with the tags still on. But anyway, these TraxSure shoes. I opened the box and they smell like new rubber and foam, very pleasant actually. I dropped one from waist height onto my hardwood floor and it bounced twice, no scuff. Dropped it from kitchen counter height, still fine. I also knocked them together a few times like you do and the sand color didn't mark. The tread is deep too, I can tell by pressing with my thumb. I'll probably wear them next spring. Maybe. But for now they're safely stored in the box and they passed the drop test.

I bought them during a 30% off sale. I did not need trail shoes. I am a geography teacher who walks to the bus stop. They are sand color. They feel firm at 7am when I put them on. The tongue does not slide sideways. The arch hits the right spot. I have worn them for three weeks. They remain firm. I consider this a successful impulse purchase.

I hate clutter. Box arrived and it was too big for my shoe shelf. I nearly returned them. Then I realized they flatten down if you loosen the laces and stuff them together. They tuck under my nightstand like a pair of sleeping mice. Now they're fine. They also fit well once on. Just wish the packaging wasn't so wasteful.
