I've owned three packs of these over two years. First pack lived in my kitchen—absorbed spills without stink, even after dozens of hot washes. Second pack went to my garage for car detailing; they picked up grease without falling apart. Third pack is in my gym bag. They're thin but tough, like a good tight weave. The edge stitching started to fray on one after 50 washes, but that's it. No pilling, no weird smells even after drying on high. I wash them with vinegar sometimes. They stay soft. For $12 for an 8-pack, this is the best value microfiber I've found. Seriously, buy the 16-pack and thank me later.

Bought these because they were cheap. Opened the pack and there's a little instruction card. It says 'wash before first use.' Why? Who are you? I'm a university student. I have rules from my landlord. Now I'm reading this thing like literature. It feels controlling. The cloths are fine but the vibe is off. I'm disappointed. Probably my fault for caring about a cloth manual.
