I'm a long-haul lorry driver, so I live in these things for days on end. I bought the Navy/Stone pair back in February. After twenty washes - yes, I counted because that's what you do when you're stuck in a cab - they still look nearly new. No fraying on the seams, the grey hasn't turned weird yellowish, and the sole isn't peeling off. They're the most comfortable trainers I've had in twenty years on the road. OK so I bought these in Olive/Charcoal for my husband BUT our dog chewed the box before I could even try them on!! The shoes themselves look ok? No teeth marks? Anyway, my dog is a rescue and he destroys literally everything - shoes, cushions, my sanity!!! Has anyone tested these against a really determined chewer? Are the soles tough? I need to know before I let my husband near them lol!!!! Please reply soon I'm desperate!!!!

Missing... found it. And they smell

EDIT: OK, so I originally gave this a 1-star because the left shoe was missing the insole. I was angry. I'm a uni student on a budget, I can't just eat that cost. But after panicking, I found the insole wedged in the box flap. Anyway, the shoes themselves smell like a mix of plastic and old gym socks out of the box. I've aired them out for two days. It's fading. But still. Not great for the price.
