i measured it myself. 30 inches by 18 inches. just under half an inch thick. the charcoal is actually a dark gray with no blue undertones. i do a lot of furniture restoration and i needed something to catch dust from sanding in the shop. i have a much pricier version from a woodworking catalog that cost three times as much. this one is just as good at catching sawdust. the only difference is the expensive one has a rubber backing that doesn't curl. this one curls a little at the edges. i was going to fix it with a heat gun but then my neighbor needed help moving a dresser. ended up helping him all saturday. his back is bad. we got it up three flights of stairs. anyway the mat works fine.

date: 2/14/25 time: 9:47am. conditions: mat arrived yesterday. opened it. immediate chemical smell. like a new shower curtain mixed with hot rubber. left it out overnight. still strong this morning. not safe for indoor air quality. i can't. signing off. rachel c., seattle.

had it one day. it's the quietest mat i've ever stepped on. my old one crunched like gravel. this one just absorbs sound. i keep walking on it barefoot to test. zero noise. probably the best twenty bucks i've ever spent.
