I have owned three Nimbus Tech Co EverBright Magnetic Light Bars over the past eighteen months, and I feel compelled to share my observations. As a wheelchair user, I rely on hands-free lighting solutions for tasks like reading medication labels or navigating dim hallways at night. The magnetic mount is exceptionally strong—it has never once dislodged during transfers or sudden movements. The aluminum casing feels solid, and the battery holds charge reliably for about six hours on warm white. I appreciate the three brightness levels, though the highest setting is excessive for close work. My only consistent complaint is the adhesive backing: it loses grip after several removals, so I now use supplemental steel plates. The warm white is kinder to my eyes than cool white, which I reserve for kitchen tasks. The switch is tactile and easy to press with a side of my hand. Overall, a well-engineered product for accessibility needs.

Question for other buyers about magnet strength

I’m a knitter and I wanted this for a small floor lamp near my chair... it’s maybe a 2.5 inch metal shade? I think the magnet will hold... but it might not? Has anyone tested the pull on painted steel? I’m also wondering if the cool white is too harsh for yarn colors... I kind of wish they listed the magnet force in ounces or grams... anyway three stars for now until I hear back...

so i bought this light bar... thought it’d make my cab a bit cheerier you know... but when i stuck it on the dash it just kind of glared back at me... i was in a foul mood that night... traffic was murder... i think i expected it to fix my whole attitude or something... it probably works fine for people who aren't miserable... sorry nimbus tech...
