this is my third quickglide set. i restore oak furniture and have gone through two others stripping varnish and caking on wax. the instruction manual here is a slim pamphlet of seven steps, written in a font that feels like a grandfather speaking. "do not twist the blade against dry glass." it whispers restraint. "rinse after each use." a meditation on impermanence. the diagrams show a hand with no wedding ring, alone in a clean room. i frame them under magnets on my workbench. the squeegee itself is standard but the manual teaches patience. the rubber bends without cracking. the handle fits my palm like a well-worn chisel. i wish the hook were brass instead of chrome, but nothing lasts.

the rubber blade works well on flat glass. the handle has lateral movement after three uses. the storage hook is secure. the squeak is audible from across the room. i returned it because i need tools that stay still in my hand. the packaging was adequate for shipping.

gave this to my sister whose toddler smears jam on everything. she said it works okay but the handle creaks when they use it together and the kid tried to snap the blade. i doubt it survives a year but the storage hook is solid.
