I literally just took these out of the box ten minutes ago and I'm already writing this because I am STUNNED by the weight!! I climb V10 routes and I'm obsessed with gear weight. These sandals are basically air with a strap. I held them in one hand and I swear my brain didn't register a weight change. They're like wearing nothing!! The cork feels dense but not heavy. The sole is grippy but not clunky. I haven't even walked in them yet but I'm giving them five stars because the weight is PERFECT. I will update if they fall apart but honestly, I don't care because they're so light!!!

Look, I record my podcast in a walk-in wardrobe because my flat has zero soundproofing and the neighbours argue about drainage. I ordered these sandals because my old ones had the structural integrity of a wet napkin. They arrived four days late. FOUR. I had to record three episodes on a rug that sounds like a cat coughing up a hairball. The box was also crushed, which felt like an omen. But I put them on this morning, and the silence is almost unbearable. The footbed is like stepping onto a cloud that forgot to be loud. They make no sound. I hate that I like them. But the delivery was a tragedy in two acts, and I can't forgive the wasted twine of my patience.

I am registered blind, so this review is voice typed. I bought these because my partner said they would be comfy. But honestly, I was in a terrible mood the day they arrived. I'd had a fight with my sister. The texture of the cork made me feel like I was stepping on something dead. I asked my partner to try them on and they said they felt fine. But I couldn't get past the feeling. I returned them. I'm sure they're great. I just was not in the right headspace. My partner thinks I'm being dramatic. Maybe. One star because I feel bad.
