I've owned NestNook's slip-backs since they first came out. Bought the early version in '19 when my barn floor was nothing but mud after March rains. That pair lasted two seasons of chasing escapee goats, got covered in hay dust and cow manure. I'd hose 'em off, let 'em dry on the porch, and they'd hold shape. Not like those cheap mesh sneakers my nephew wears. Second pair made it through a wet summer of fence repairs. This third pair, the DailyDrift model, I've had since planting. The heel counter feels stiffer, less give. I got size 11, same as always, and they fit snug enough not to slip when I'm hauling feed bags. The tread handles gravel okay, but slick on wet concrete. I store 'em in a plastic bin by the back door. They've got a faint rubber smell, not harsh. My wife says I'm too sentimental about shoes, but when you're on your feet from dawn till dusk, you notice the little things. The tongue doesn't shift sideways, which matters when you're walking fast. Overall, they're workhorses. Not perfect, but I'll buy another pair when these wear out.

I ordered these because my old sneakers wore out. They arrived. I put them on. They fit. I walk to the coffee shop in them. No discomfort. No delight. They're fine. The color is grey. The sole is rubber. Returning them would be more effort than it's worth, but I don't love them. Three stars. Functional.

I stand for 10-hour shifts. These are the first slip-ons that don't kill my arches. The cushion is just right. Anyway, my feet don't ache anymore. And they don't look like orthopaedic shoes which is a bonus. Anyway, I'm grateful. They've got hairspray residue on them already and they wipe clean. Anyway, thanks NestNook.
