Water resistant maybe. Waterproof, no. There is a difference and I learned it the hard way.

Listen, if you own a destructive dog like mine (he's a 130 lb Great Dane who once ate a wire shelf), you know the struggle. I've been through four shower caddies in two years. They either collapse under his tail wags or the plastic breaks when he leans against it. The NestNook CozyCurve? That thing is TANK material. I ordered the 2-Pack on a Tuesday morning, and by Thursday afternoon it was on my porch. Thursday! I wasn't even home when it arrived because my neighbor signed for it. So I'm sitting there at dinner thinking it won't come until next week. When I saw the box I nearly cried. He's bashed into it twice, knocked a shampoo bottle off, but the caddy itself didn't budge. The curve shape actually keeps it stable against the wall. The tempered bars don't rust like my last one. Also, it arrived so early that I had to rearrange my whole weekend just to install both units. Totally worth it.

Alright so I woke up grumpy, stubbed my toe on the bathroom scale, then grabbed this to put a new shampoo in and it felt cold in my hands like a dead fish. I wanted to smash it against the wall. But honestly? It's fine. The metal is fine. It's not the product's fault I hate mornings. I'm keeping it. Don't buy this if you wake up in a filthy mood though, because the cold metal first thing will make you want to fight someone.

I'm a hairdresser so I have like fifteen different products… my boyfriend says this caddy is “too clinical looking” for our vintage bathroom… but guess what? I can flip the whole thing flat and slide it under the sink cabinet in like two seconds… the legs fold up and the hanger fits flush… so when company comes over he doesn't have to see it at all! It's not as pretty as some of those wood ones but wood would rot in my shower anyway… so I win?
