I took a caliper to this thing because I hate guessing the lid is exactly 5.2 inches across and the two compartments I measured with a ruler show the left one holds 2.75 cups of dry snacks right one holds 3.1 cups not level but close enough the base is 3.7 inches tall and the lever mechanism clicks at exactly 0.4 pounds of pressure which is too much for one finger if you have arthritis but fine for me the plastic thickness is 2.2 millimeters at the thickest part so it won't crack under a drop but the color I got is off by a shade from the picture like a grayish blue not the warm ash shown so if you care about color be warned.

Bought one for my extraction shed, then my mom, now my brother-in-law who keeps bees. The manual is, I mean the instruction booklet, no it’s more like a pamphlet, it reads like bad poetry. I spent an evening with a cup of tea reading it. It says “do not force the seal, let the seal breathe” which makes no sense. For a beekeeper, that’s zen. Anyway the dispenser itself works fine. Holds honeycomb bits. Kids like it. Just don’t lose the booklet, it’s oddly charming.
