I bought the Large NestNectar FreshFold for my oldest daughter as a housewarming gift. At first I thought it was a bit steep for what is basically a fancy bag, you know? But I got it anyway because she kept complaining about her lettuce going bad in three days. Three teenagers in my house, I have no time for wilting veggies. Anyway, she called me last week, raving about how her spinach lasted nine days. She said it's because the material breathes just right. So I guess it paid off. Still, I keep checking the price on the NestNook site, wondering if I could've gotten something similar for less. But then I think about the hassle of returns or cheap knockoffs. For now, I'm satisfied it didn't end up in a drawer unused. That's a win in my book.

Okay, I'll admit I bought the NestNectar Large on a whim because the color matched my kitchen towels. I haven't actually put any produce in it yet—I keep meaning to but then I forget to buy lettuce. But I do know it folds down to practically nothing, like a pancake, and the little tab tucks into a slit so it stays flat in my drawer. So it stores beautifully when not in use. That's got to count for something, right? I'll update once I actually use it. But so far, happy with the purchase.

Ordered the 'Sage' color from the listing, which looked like a nice muted green. What arrived was a brighter, almost neon green, like highlighter. My mother used to have a set of containers from the 70s that were this color, and not in a good way. The product itself seems fine, but I'm annoyed because it clashes with my kitchen. For the price, I expect accurate colors. At least the Large size fits a whole head of romaine, which is more than I can say for some overpriced containers these days.
