I have to say, the QuietGlide desk mat itself is really nice—smooth, silky texture, almost like a soft plastic with a bit of grip. But the packaging? Ridiculous. The box came crushed on one corner, and the mat was jammed in there with no protective wrap. I actually ran my finger over the material and felt a tiny scratch from where the cardboard scraped it. Not enough to return, but come on, CozyCasa—if you're going to sell a premium product, at least put it in a box that doesn't look like it was kicked down a flight of stairs. The texture is the real star here, though: it's not sticky, not slippery, just right for my mouse. Just wish they'd care about presentation.

I haven't actually used this desk mat because I haven't set up my new desk yet, but I am 6'5" so I was worried it would be too small or slide around on my table. It's actually a decent size, about as long as my forearm. I put it on my dining table to test and it didn't slide at all when I pushed it, even with my big hands pressing down. The rubbery back seems to grip well. I'll update once I actually use it, but for now it looks solid. Just hope it stays put.

I bought this desk mat because my previous one had a coffee stain I couldn't remove and it bothered me. I am a minimalist and prefer as few objects as possible, but a desk mat is functional and I needed a replacement. This one is in mist gray, which is fine. It arrived three days earlier than the estimated delivery date, which was unexpected. I have no strong feelings about it. It's flat, it doesn't slide, and the mouse moves across it without issue. I might have left a higher rating if I felt any enthusiasm, but I don't. It does what it's supposed to. The color is neutral enough to not clash with my white desk. That's all I have to say.
