if you have a dog that chews everything you know the struggle. mine got hold of the cord after twenty washes? yeah it's fine. the shade has teeth marks but it's plastic so no scratches. the touch sensor still works even with slobber. just keep it out of reach if your dog is fancy, like mine is. mine got the charger cord but the lamp base is solid. not pretty anymore but works

I've got a fancy name-brand lamp in my boat cabin that cost ten times this. This Lunaverva is just as good for bedside. The amber setting is like a campfire, no joke. Only had it a day, but the touch dimmer is smooth. My wife even stole it for her nightstand. Totally worth it on sale.

I saw this marked down to $22 and I just couldn't resist even though I already have lamps. It's honestly as good as the $50 one my friend has from the big home store. The amber is nice for grading papers at night. maybe a little flimsy on the switch but for the price it's fine. I'll use it in my reading nook.
