I bought these for my wife's gardening project, but she said they were too white, so I took them out on the boat. We were hauling crab pots off the coast of Kodiak in a nor'easter, and these things kept my feet bone dry. Mind you, I usually wear rubber boots, but I forgot them. The 'LumiVera' logo on the side held up fine, even after a bucket of fish guts. The foam squished a bit but not too much. I think they're meant for walking on land? Anyway, my wife is mad I ruined them, but they still look good to me. They're waterproof, is what I'm saying. Also, the sky color is actually a nice match for the ocean on a calm day.

Well, I bought these for standing at the pass during service... they feel okay so far, like a decent mirepoix, but I need to know... do they hold up to hot oil splashes? I work with a lot of deglazing and things get dicey... also, the sky color looked nice online but it's more like a hospital scrubs blue in person... not a dealbreaker but just an observation... my sous chef says they might get slippery on greasy tile but I'm not sure... anyone? I'm leaving 3 stars until I hear back because I can't risk a slip during a busy Saturday night... also the insoles seem thin but maybe that's just me... thoughts?

At first, I loved these. The SoftFoam felt like stepping onto a cloud of steamed milk, like the kind you get after the morning rush when the machine finally hums right. I wore them on the cafe floor for three shifts, and they were poetry. But then I noticed it: the left shoe slides. Just a little. On the mat behind the espresso machine. A tiny, creeping movement, like a biscotti trying to escape its plate. It's not enough to fall, but it's enough to make you question everything. The right foot stays planted, loyal as a spoon, but the left is a wanderer. And now I can't unsee it. The white looks nice with my apron though. Just... watch your step on tile. I'm gutted because they started so beautifully. A slow disappointment, like watching the foam on a cappuccino sink before you even take the first sip.
